The Asian Region

We are part of the ASEAN Dutch Chamber Network (ADCN). We support Dutch businesses to go global via NLinBusiness.

ASEAN Dutch Chamber Network

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) comprises of 10 countries, with a population of over 625 million, and a combined nominal gross domestic product (GDP) of over US $2.8 trillion.  If counted as a single entity, it would rank sixth in the world, making ASEAN a very attractive market.  To facilitate regional business and leverage on the strengths of individual country chambers / councils, Dutch Chambers in the Southeast Asian region committed to collaboration under the title of The ASEAN Dutch Chamber Network (ADCN).

ADCN consists of six Dutch Chambers of Commerce (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam), and represents a diverse range of Dutch Business, cutting across almost every commercial sphere from manufacturing and financial services, to Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), and high end electronics and communications.

ADCN is developing some common exposure, better streamlining of membership, and providing increased opportunities for respective members to attend events from Dutch Chamber colleagues that could especially be of interest for many regional representatives here in ASEAN.  Read on to find out more about the individual chambers.  To visit our regional Chamber events page, please visit nlib.bigdash.community/groups.

For those looking even further into the world, to go global – we can connect you through the platform of NLinBusiness; an initiative of the Dutch employers’ organizations VNO-NCW and MKB Nederland. The platform is there to support Dutch SMEs to expand globally by connecting business hubs in ‘Cities of Opportunities’ where a local representation of the Dutch business community is connected.

For Bangkok, the NTCC is their sole partner. So if you’re looking to get connected with any other Dutch business communities in other cities around the world, you can do so via our partnership with NLinBusiness. It is also good to note that the organization also works closely with many relevant Dutch stakeholders, teaming up with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, top sectors, trade associations, knowledge institutes, and the Dutch business community, to name a few.
