Relocating Headquarter Services to Thailand: Legal and Tax implications

On Friday 1 September the Joint Chambers Executive Breakfast Talk: "Relocating Headquarter Services to Thailand: Legal and Tax implications" was hosted. The following business consultants, Mr. Till Morstadt, Mrs. Athitaya Chanthasirichot and Dr. Constantin Frank-Fahle LL.M., from the law firm Lorenz & Partners Co., Ltd. joined the seminar to discuss the key tax and legal implications of relocating headquarter services to Thailand, unforeseen legal and tax risks as well as unnecessary or unexpected costs. The presentation slides of the seminar are of particular interest to investors intending to relocate headquarter and back office services within the region to Thailand and can be found below.

Digital Transformation - The Implementation of PromptPay: Pushing Forward a Cashless Society

On Tuesday 27 June, NCCT in collaboration with BCCT, AustCham, CanCham and Singapore-Thai Chamber of Commerce organized a Multi Chambers Lunch Panel on "Digital Transformation - The Implementation of PromptPay: Pushing Forward a Cashless Society" at So Sofitel Bangkok. PromptPay is a new online banking system, initiated by the Thai Banker’s Association and the Bank of Thailand, that allows users to easily transfer funds to each other electronically. The panel, moderated by Gareth Davies, included Yos Kimsawatde, Anuchit Anuchitanukul and Wanna Noparbhorn. See the presentation for a short overview of what has been discussed at this luncheon.

NTCCxTech x Keeping Your Culture Alive

Last week's session, Thursday 28 September, at's Bangkok office was a blast! Marking the fourth edition, this time we're all in about 'Keeping (company) Culture Alive', a common challenge to many entrepreneurs while growing their companies. A big round of applause to our awesome panelists and thank you to the crew for their warm hospitality - we hope to see you again at upcoming NTCCxTech events!

Diversity and Female Leadership

Thursday 21 September NTCC was proud to host an event on "Diversity and Female Leadership in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry". During the evening key note speaker Linda Giebing (General Manager at DoubleTree Resort by Hilton), joined by experienced panelists, shared insights on the current global status of 'Women in Leadership', the advantages of inclusiveness and diversity, and obstacles encountered in their own working careers.

NTCC Manufacturing 4.0

Tuesday 19 September 'NTCC Manufacturing 4.0' was launched at the Orange Nest, Embassy of the Netherlands. It was the kick-off event from the NTCC Manufacturing Group, led by Stefan Van der Sluys and Marco Belonje. During the event guest speakers David Payne, Managing Director of Akzo Nobel Paints (Thailand) Limited, and Kevin Snook, CEO of Saxagon Limited and LUCIDi4 Limited, gave presentations on organizational change and cooperating with the manufacturing frontline respectively. It certainly was a great start of NTCC Manufacturing 4.0!

Culinary Dutch Luncheon

On this culinary Friday 15 September NTCC hosted a luncheon at the The Westin Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok under the watchful eye, preparations and execution of Mr. Albert Kooy - Executive Chef and F&B Manager at Stenden. Over the four-course luncheon that our members and guests got to enjoy, Mr. Kooy gave a complimentary presentation on his 'Dutch Cuisine' and how to incorporate this within hospitality businesses. For everyone present it proved to be an educational yet tasty lunch gathering!

NTCC Networking: Cheese Tasting

Thursday 14 September, in collaboration with Culinary Dutch and Stenden Thailand, NTCC hosted a Cheese Tasting. During the evening our members and guests had the opportunity to mix and mingle while enjoying a diversity of cheeses and corresponding wines. We hope everyone had a good time and enjoyed the networking event!
